Two of my favourite specialist trainers are running workshops over the next few weeks which I highly recommend.

Veronica Kamerling is running her co-dependency session on Nov 23rd. Carers can sometimes feel that the meaning of co-dependency is difficult to understand and that there is blame attached to it. This workshop aims to highlight that this is not the case and when co-dependency is addressed it can often lead to harmonious family relationships and have an impact on recovery. It will also cover “Carer Recovery” and “Taking Care of Yourself”

Jennifer Danby is running two EFFT courses

For caregivers on Nov 20th

If you are a parent, partner or family member who is struggling to support their loved one (of any age)  with a range of mental health and behavioural difficulties then Jennifer will be delivering a 1 day workshop online mid Nov. This will be focusing on the use of emotion coaching skills. Places are filling up quite fast for this so please share the following link with caregivers ASAP. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/emotion-coaching-for-caregivers-tickets-195803943867

For clinicians on Nov 29th to Dec 1

Jennifer is hosting an in person (finger crossed) 3 day EFFT core training for clinician later this month. This training is approved by the International Institute for Emotion-Focused Family Therapy for those of you interested in pursuing certification. Adele Lafrance- Co developer of EFFT will be doing a special guest session via video link.
