Open carer group

Monday 24 August 2026, 7pm–8.30pm

Chris and Jenny facilitate a monthly open group that any carers are welcome to attend. It is an opportunity to meet other families in the thick of eating disorders in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. You can simply turn up to these monthly sessions. There is usually a guest speaker for at least part of the session.

At this session, Jenny Langley will launch The Next Chapter of the New Maudsley Carer Programme.

Who the programme is for

The New Maudsley model is person-centred. It is suitable for carers of neurodivergent and neurotypical loved ones, and it can be applied across all types of eating disorder. Up to 50% of families attending the sessions report that their loved one is autistic or has high levels of autistic traits that pre-dated the eating disorder.

The next chapter of the New Maudsley Carer Programme

Jenny is now offering limited one-to-one coaching and small-group practical skills sessions as paid-for sessions. Please get in touch if you would like more details.

Jenny and Martin are also updating the website and adding more on-demand content, which will be available for a modest price. You can continue to download free worksheets and access videos and podcasts across the website.

If you have ideas for anything that could usefully be added to the programme, please let Jenny know and she will do her best to accommodate your requests.

With love,
Jenny
