Despite years of hard work by young men like Sam Thomas who created the Men Get Eating Disorders Too campaign, and the publication of many books around this topic, there is still a general lack of awareness around eating disorders in males and it is really important that we acknowledge the courage of boys and men who are prepared to talk openly about their experiences of eating disorders.
